Beauty Tips For Busy Moms

By Elaine Guthrie

If you are a mom, chances are you have very busy days, seven days a week. There may not always be a lot of time for you to spend on pampering yourself, or even getting ready for the day. Most women are balancing work and family which means a never ending list of daily tasks that have nothing to do with personal time. There are some very simple beauty tips for busy moms that can help you feel ready for anything.

Every day mothers everywhere get up and begin the task of getting lunches made, children up, dressed, fed, and to school. Often, mom gets a quick taste of toast and usually brings a cup of coffee for the drive to drop kids off at school. The children have been properly fed and look presentable while mom, again, has left home looking a bit disheveled and tired.

Most often these women give up on the thought of looking gorgeous and tend to blame their hectic schedule. In addition to making time to look good, a mom will often ignore her own need for healthy diet and sleep habits. Time management and organization skills seem to go out the window when one person is coordinating so many different schedules.

All women have the right to look their best regardless what is monopolizing their days. There are five tips that will help any busy woman look and feel beautiful. None of these suggestions take a lot of time so there is no need to feel pressure to get done quickly. They are simple to do and you will feel confident in your appearance when you leave the house.

First, make sure your nails are manicured and polished. It is not ideal for women with kids to have fashion nails. However, keeping them well groomed makes a big difference in how your hands look. A simple at home manicure and a little colored nail polish can help you feel attractive.

The next thing to do is apply cream around your eyes to reduce the signs of a lack of sleep. To be truthful, most women can not tell you when they last had an uninterrupted full night sleep. Without the proper amount of rest dark circles begin to show under the eyes. A quality eye cream can help women look awake and fresh faced each morning.

The next suggestion is to wear a minimal amount of makeup. A little bit of eye liner can change your entire look. You can also apply some mascara, light eye shadow, and a dab of lip gloss. There is no need to take a lot of time to apply the makeup and the slightest amount will give you a fresh, ready for the day look.

It is a good idea to use hair care products that will give your hair bounce and shine. You may want to use hair ties, clips, or headbands to add style to your hair. Finally, make some time to prepare for the day ahead when the kids are in bed. You can pack lunches and take care of some personal care so that the next morning runs smoother.
