Looking At The Simplest Way To Wear Tiaras

By Gloria Mason

One of the best wedding traditions involves people wearing bridal tiaras with their gowns. Few things make a woman feel like a queen than this simple jewelry accessory when it is added to their wedding ensemble. The truth though is that few women wear them on a daily basis so often are unsure how they should be properly placed. Yes as surprising as it is there is a good way and a better way to put them on.

Most people will insist that it should be as easy as putting one on your head, smiling and appearing beautiful. Truthfully there are several different ways to use them just as there are varieties of tiaras. They may be placed on the front of the forehead, on the crown, even facing the rear. There are some which are placed as multiple circlets through the hair like rings. The greatest factor is really how the lady decides to style her hair.

The typical place to put them is at the front of the head at the hairline. This often is done when brides will pull back long hair. The tiara ends up framing the women's hair line with lighting from gemstones in it. Lately many women have tried putting highlights into their hair to aid drawing greater attention to it.

Some ladies like to have them leaning either forward or back on top of their hair. This classic look which has roots dating back to tribal society. Make sure that the hair will not draw unwanted attention by being up too high. It is important for the feet being long and somewhat flexible enough so they can mold to the woman's head.

Some people are willing to experiment with trying to wear them on the back of their head. In a strange way this also makes sense. This is the area people see the most during any wedding ceremony. If you plan to experiment like this, always speak with a good stylist for different ideas for your hair.

Another classic style is using a semi flexible tiara as a bun wrap. Sometimes hidden rubber grips can be used to help stop them from moving. If you do plan to do this, try to pick one out that has a thin base which is possible to be pinned into place.

The simplest way to put them on is leaving the hair down so the tiara sits like a small feminine crown. Wearing them like this allows you to pull your hair in braids or a ponytail or have it combed straight down. They are not meant to be put on like a headband. Rather, place it so its comfortable then push it in and down slightly.

Wedding tiaras are an old tradition that is based on historic customs and beliefs. It is something that is unlikely to go away any time soon. Whatever style you decide to go with, nothing will make you feel as much like a queen on your wedding day.
